This Sunday (eep!) I will be performing in the Olympics Closing Ceremony at BC Place.

I signed a confidentiality agreement PLUS took an oath saying that I wouldn’t give anything away, that I agreed that secrecy was key to making making this ceremony spectacular and ensuring every person watching on Sunday will be thoroughly impressed. So far I haven’t seen anything other than the particular section I’m in, so I can only speak to that. And what I will say is that the part I’m involved in is AWESOME.

Like I said, I really can’t give any more details than that, but what I will say is this:

  • Don’t look for me to be a feature performer. I’m in a support role along the edges.
  • If you know me at all, you will know what section I’m in as soon as you see it.
  • There’s a really good chance that you won’t actually see me on TV. I have no idea where the cameras are going to be, so it’s possible, but as I said I’m not a feature and unlikely to be focused on.
  • I will be performing in the second half and no, I won’t say any more than that with regard to when exactly I’ll be on.

Mostly, I just really want people to watch and enjoy. Josh will definitely be recording it for me so that I can watch later and stop and rewind and make everyone I know listen to anything and everything I know after the fact. But not before.

But seriously? I’m so excited!

Hopefully, you aren’t dressed completely in white and dance an 1980s White Girl Dance while the athletes come in… I will be sad for you if that’s the case. ;)
